Actually, the older models are better than the newer ones. Read the books, they are actually really good.

In my experience, it sometimes does not work. If you have the map menu open and then go into your missions and change the markers and then back out of that back to your map, it will not show up until you back out of your map. So just leave your map, and come back to it, and everything should be honky-dory.

COD simply 'cramps' my style. I want a game with big ass maps that requires TEAM WORK. Oh yeah, and vehicles. People judging that this game will suck because of the beta need to take a nap and wake up a little more optimistic.

Not a waste at all, I thoroughly loved morrowind (hope skyrim is much more like that) just don't have the kind of time I had when I was 16 to play it out to that extent. Still I want to have the best armor/perks and get to experience the more entertaining parts of the game.
First thing I and every other intelligent gamer will do: Go to computer and search in Google or maybe YouTube for glitch where I can clone objects an unlimited number of times or take an unlimited amount of moneys out of some dead morons pocket. Use resulting fortune to accomplish pretty much anything I wish in the game without having to spend countless hours doin lame missions and 'running'.
Xbox is also compatible with a keyboard and mouse. . . just sayin'.
Yep, Civ does very well, and Halo Wars is a great example of how good an rts can be if it is built from the ground up for console.

I just finished the co-op in one sitting with my friend. People who think this game takes about 4 hours are morons. Best co-op experience EVER, I played and loved Chaos Theory, and I'm telling you, this blows it out of the water! (talking about it's co-op)
I disagree very strongly with you. Ensemble did an OUTSTANDING job with Halo Wars. Go on there on any given weekend and you'll see there are more players in that than Halo 3. They built the game from the ground up for a console, and it shows. Albeit, the game is pretty simple compared to pc-strategy games, but the reason for that is obvious, the controller. I have played that game a lot and can say that it is still fun, relaxing, and a great change of pace.
